NFL Making the leap 2014
Got this idea from ATL podcast and also reading about Packers TC the last bit. List a little known player who you think has the player to step it up this year basedn on TC, preseason and depth.

Ill start

Jeff Janis WR - Packers

After the departure of James Jones in the offseason, WR3 has opened up for the Pack leading in to the 2014 season. Heading in to training camp, many expected this spot to be fought out between 3rd year player Jarret Boykin (coming off a 2013 with more than 50 receptions and 700 yards) and 2nd round draftee Davante Adams who took 131 catches for 24 TDs and more than 1700 yards for Fresno State last year.

It is 7th round pick Jeff Janis that has taken training camp by storm however, showing suprising ability to execute his routes, make tough catches and extend the play. He was considered a project after college, coming from Div II school Saginaw Valley State - but after a great combine where he measured up at 6'3, came top 5 in WRs with a 40 of 4.4 seconds, top 10 in the vert with 37.5 inches and 4th in the bench press, he was given his chance.

Unable to play in the first preseason game due to a viral infection, Janis entered day 11 of training camp by working with the top offensive units. Impressing with circus catches and bringing in 2 TDs, he should get some first team reps against the Rams and further push his climb up the WR depth chart heading in to week 1 against Seattle.
